Hmong Funeral Feedback

The Hmong 18 Council of Minnesota will be hosting an event to get feedback from the Hmong community on June 3, 2017 at Community School of Excellence in St. Paul, MN. For more information, visit

The conference is to discuss the Hmong funeral traditions and costs. Since a traditioinal Hmong funeral can last between 2-3 days, the cost of funeral home rental and food for the visiting public, can start in the $15K dollars to as much as $50K dollars or more. By looking at the cost, this can be a burden on the living family members.
